It all started at Waterwise Botanical Garden Celebration in Escondido, California on June 2013. Debra Lee Baldwin was so gracious to host Candy Suter, Jeanne Eige and myself at her lovely home and garden for this 2 day event. Before the celebration even started, we spent an afternoon of cocktails and tour of Debra’s garden. As many of you may know, Debra is the famous garden photo journalist and author of three best selling succulent books. I felt so honored to be invited at Debra’s VIP Party and launch of her latest book, “Succulent Simplified” at Jeanne Meadows’ Garden in Fallbrook California . It truly was an amazing experience. I was speechless the entire time walking around this incredible garden. Oh, I did manage to say…. OH MY GOD! The colors, textures, shapes, and the simple, elegant design of the landscape was so pleasing. This is a great example of an efficient, vibrant, and colorful garden even without flower. To read more about this garden, pick up a copy of the January issue of Country Garden written by Debra Lee Baldwin. I took so much photos that it was hard to choose which one to post. Enjoy .
